Introducing our Annual Trends Report!

Komodo has developed a new report and benchmarking tool for our customers to use in identifying insights and trends in their wellbeing data. Taking data from all Komodo schools in 2023 this report breaks data down by school type and year group identifying benchmark scores and specific insights into key challenges and successes seen in all our schools.

Say hello to Steps To...

We are very excited to launch a brand new offering for customers called the Steps To Program. Registered Psychologist and Komodo Psychology Lead Ilia Lindsay has developed a series of courses on key wellbeing topic. These will be launched in stages. The Digital Wellbeing Success and School Climate Success programs are available now. 

Steps To Digital Wellbeing Success - In today's digital age, it's essential for teachers, parents and students to grasp the ins and outs of technology, both its advantages and drawbacks. Digital technology brings countless opportunities, but it also comes with its challenges. To guide our students and children effectively, we need to equip them with the knowledge and skills to thrive in this digital era while ensuring they maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.

This program is designed to help you address two fundamental pillars of digital wellbeing - digital literacy and digital empathy. It features a guide to digital literacy topics for students, practical activities to increase digital empathy and a classroom digital audit activity.

Steps to School Climate Success - School climate refers to the overall atmosphere, culture, and environment of a school. It encompasses the social, emotional, and physical aspects that contribute to the overall experience of students, teachers, and staff within the school setting. 

This program acknowledges the importance of two key influences on School Climate. Student Voice and Belonging & Connection. Student voice refers to the active engagement and participation of students in shaping their own learning experiences and environments. It recognizes that students are not just passive recipients of knowledge but active contributors to their educational process. A sense of belonging refers to feeling accepted, respected, included, and supported by others in the school social environment. These resources are designed to support staff in implementing best practices towards creating a strong school climate.
